Monday 19th February - walks *** – Around Felixstowe – cloudy and sunny periods!

Checked what the sunrise was looking like at 6.45 annd it didnnt look anything special so went back to bed then the sky turned a brilliant red so missed a good one but it was brief and the sunn soon disappeared behind dark clouds but at least no more rain today! Then around nine I headed out inn search of some wet pics to send to the TV weather going once again down Gulpher Road where the fields are still fairly waterlogged. Then onto the Ferry to take a few pics before returning home for breakfast. I was tempted by a windsurf foil at Levington but with the tide running out until lunch time I just couldn’t find the enthusuim especially as it was still cloudy so did my exercises instead. The sun then made ann appearance and the wind averaged around 20 knots so I probably missed a good session but never mind as windy all week! So as we had to go to Lidl again I packed a picnic and after Mag had finished potting up loads of seeds we drove down to The Dip to walk along the prom to one of our favorite spots by the River Deben and enjoyed a very peaceful lunch before returning to the van and shopping which did not take long!
